Welcome by the President
Dear Reader,
Mongolia has been going through some great changes in recent years. Our country is becoming more and more integrated into the regional and world economy. The number of multinational companies turning to Mongolia has been increasing for many years now. New opportunities lie ahead of us. Experiencing and feeling the progress that is made every day is exciting.
Nevertheless, there is still a long way to go and every single one of us needs to work hard for a better present and an even greater and more prosperous future.
Our vision is clear - offering a strong academic foundation to our students so that they can benefit from those new opportunities. As someone who has seen the |

Institute of Finance and Economics change over the years, I know that this is not simply a remote aspiration.
We offer high quality academic programmes which are internationally recognised by our partners in China, Korea, Russia, Germany - to name but a few. IFE students are of the highest calibre and are provided with excellent career prospects. I believe that IFE students are well-prepared to face challenges which shape our society.
Our faculty are chosen from the best available and over the years, we have managed to constantly increase the share of international lecturers. Our faculty are equally recognised as prominent specialists in their field by both practitioners and academics.
Being in the heart of Ulaanbaatar is an ideal place to experience growing internationalisation, not only in Mongolia, but also in Asia. Ulaanbaatar is turning into a vibrant community that is attracting and welcoming more and more people from all over the world. It is a place where globalization can be experienced on a day-to-day basis.
All this implies that those who enrol in our programmes, or who come to work in Ulaanbaatar will become part of a dynamic community that offers a range of knowledge and experience - and that is willing to lead our society.
I look forward to welcoming you at the Institute of Finance and Economics.
