Frank Goeddeke, MBA and PhD courses
"My name is Frank Goeddeke. I am US Peace Corps Volunteer, assigned to teach MBA and PhD courses in management at the IFE for two years.
I am retired from General Motors and also have experience as a flight instructor and union organizer. My MBA is from Rollins College and my PhD in Management is from the University of Florida.
I have been working at the IFE since August 2010. I love working here! The faculty and staff are great to work with, and they all look out for me. The administration supports me in all of my projects. The students are smart, respectful, and very inquisitive. The Mongolian people are very friendly and have an interesting culture. The food is great here. In many ways I prefer teaching at the IFE than in the US."

I obtained my MA degree in Globalisation of Business in Sheffield Hallam University, UK in 2004; Chinese Teaching Certificate, Providence University, Taiwan in 2007. I joined the IFE faculty in September 2011, have had the previous numerous years teaching both CFL and EFL learners in Taiwan. Mongolia is culturally and geographically opposite to Taiwan where I am from. Open space with beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife in Mongolia are speechless and breathtaking. My co-workers and supervisors are very supportive and helpful. My students are very creative and outgoing.
Coming to Mongolia was not on my plans. However, twists and turns in life have changed rapidly. Be open to experiences, life throws fun and laughs at anyone. I'm grateful to have this opportunity explore this unique country in the world.
