International Cooperations
The Institute of Finance and Economics is embracing international opportunities that are offered to our students and faculty.
IFE has established different dual degree programs with universities in Korea, China, Singapore and Germany:
- Business Management with Dalian University (China)
- Business Law with Dalian University (China)
- International Economics and Trade with Dalian Polytechnic University (China)
- CAT (Certified Accountant Technicians) & ACCA (Chartered Accountants) Program with FTMS Global University of Singapore
- Hospitality & Tourism Management with ISW Freiburg (Germany)
- Business Management with Handong Global University (Korea)
- Financial Management with Asia University (China/Taiwan)
The international joint programs offered by IFE turns its students into competent professionals in their specialization. After a successful completion of their courses, IFE students will receive a dual degree from the IFE and their partner university.
IFE has launched a promising international cooperation under the project 'Network Institution' with the Siberian State Aerospace University (Russia), the Kazakh-American Free University (Kazakstan), the Dalian Polytechnic University (China) and the Business School of Freiburg (Germany). This collaboration shall enhance each institution's teaching, learning, research and internationalization objectives and methods.
IFE has established further relationships with ISG of France, Asia University of Taiwan, Volunteer State Community College, TN, USA, Aoyama Gakuin University, Tokyo of Japan, and the European Business College in Munich to encourage academic exchange and research programs.
The number of cooperations is expanding, keeping up with the pace of globalization. Every department and member of the Institute of Finance and Economics is motivated to develop further any promising opportunities for students, the faculty and its stakeholders.

Within the framework of preparation for ACBSP accreditation, a three-day workshop for the faculty and staff was organized at the IFE. On the request of the IFE, Dr. R Nandagopal - a Director of PSG Institute of Management, Coimbatore, India, and Assistant Professor Ajith Sankar R N shared their experiences with the ASBSP accreditation process. PSG Institute of Management was awarded ACBSP accreditation in 2010. This school is the first institute in India to be accredited by the ACBSP. During the visit of the professors to IFE, the Director of PSG Institute Dr. R Nandagopal and the President of the IFE Dr. D. Batjargal signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the schools.
